HTML tables are a nightmare that simply won't go away. They in actual fact compete with complex numbers for the plane; we thus look at the competition.
We start with operators on points. Addition and subtraction are simply done component-wise on the rectangular coordinates. Multiplication is easiest to demonstrate with radial coordinates, as adding the angles and multiplying the radii, or moduli.
For division we must describe the hyperbola. This we do with radial coordinates, again: we reflect the point across the x axis, and invert the modulus.
