If our minds are black holes, that kills two birds with one stone.
Can one imagine oneself going around the block, or can one only recall scenes from times that one did?
We are capable of imagining ourselves on the moon, and we are capable of screwing our minds to believe that we know the feeling of being in deep space.
But why did we go around the block?
We didn't need rockets to get an accurate picture of the world; we didn't need rockets to tell us how orbits work.
We really didn't need more dust.
The most logical thing to do, when no-one else's feelings are at stake, is that which gives us a good feeling.
Wouldn't it give us all a good feeling just to fuck off as far as we can? Also planning for a safe return so that we can share our experience with others, obviously.
Which would you prefer: a Mars landing, or a fuck-off adventure?
